Is the monthly plan a subscription?
Yes — R29 is charged every month to your card via Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard and your listing will remain on the paid tier until the end of your current billing month.
Can I start on the Free tier and upgrade later?
Absolutely. Sign up for Free, publish a basic listing, and when you want WhatsApp, booking buttons, the safety suite and the Verified badge — upgrade from your dashboard in a few clicks.
Why is there a paid tier at all?
The safety features are expensive to run — fraud detection, bot blocking, email alerts and background monitoring all cost money. Charging a small monthly fee for the full toolkit keeps the directory sustainable and spam-free for everyone.
What happens if I cancel?
Your listing drops back to the Free tier — it stays online and searchable, but the WhatsApp / booking buttons, safety dashboard and Verified badge are removed. Nothing is deleted and you can resubscribe anytime.
